Resolution calling for, for the year 2018, subsidies for the recovery of ethnological and architectural elements with heritage values, for the recovery of the agricultural landscape and its surroundings and of municipally owned agricultural and/or forestry spaces, and the maintenance, cleaning and conservation of public spaces that, due to their characteristics, require special care, that are located within the territorial scope of the Serra de Tramuntana..
On June 5, 2017, it was published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (hereinafter, “BOIB“) the Resolution of the vice president of the Consorci Serra de Tramuntana Patrimoni Mundial, of May 29, 2018, by which subsidies are called, for the year 2018, for the recovery of ethnological and architectural elements with heritage values, for the recovery of the agricultural landscape and its surroundings and of agricultural and/or forestry spaces of municipal ownership, and the maintenance, cleaning and conservation of public spaces that due to their characteristics require a special care, that they are located within the territorial scope of the Serra de Tramuntana.
Recipients of this call for subsidies may be (i) natural persons and non-profit entities that own the properties on which the eligible action is carried out; (ii) the twenty town councils with territory located within the territorial scope of the Serra de Tramuntana.
A total amount of 1,081,222.43 euros is allocated to this call for subsidies, which is distributed as follows:
(i) 510,610.92 euros will go to the town councils in the lines corresponding to subsidies for the recovery of ethnological and architectural elements with heritage values and for the recovery of agricultural and/or forestry spaces of municipal ownership. The subsidies granted to the town councils corresponding to these lines may not exceed the limit of 30,000 euros for each action, except for actions for the recovery of ethnological elements, which may not exceed the limit of 15,000 euros.
(ii) 530,611.51 euros will be allocated to individuals and non-profit entities in the lines corresponding to subsidies for the recovery of ethnological and architectural elements with heritage values and for the recovery of the agricultural landscape and its surroundings. Subsidies awarded to individuals and non-profit entities within the framework of this call may not exceed the limit of 10,000 euros for each action.
(iii) 40,000 euros will go to city councils in the line corresponding to public spaces that, due to their special characteristics, require special care in their maintenance, cleaning and conservation. The subsidies granted to town councils in this line may not exceed the limit of 10,000 euros for each action.
